Dr.  Adeyeri completed his general surgery residency at Columbia University’s Harlem Hospital Center in New York where he was chief resident from 2006-2007. During his residency training, he also did a  post-doctoral research fellowship in transplantation immunobiology at the university, where he published and presented several publications, and won several awards.

He then went on to University of Rochester, NY, where he did a fellowship in Minimally Invasive, Bariatric, and GI surgery. Here he performed a wide variety of bariatric procedures including laparoscopic roux-en-y gastric bypass and laparoscopic gastric banding, as well as other advanced laparoscopic procedures including inguinal, abdominal and paraesophageal hernia repairs, anti-reflux procedures, and colorectal procedures.

Dr. Adeyeri  is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES),  American Society for Bariatric Surgery, and American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Adeyeri performs Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass and Adjustable Gastric Banding (LapBand).
