Phentermine
Is a prescription strength medication that can be obtained through our office
if you are not an ideal candidate for bariatric surgery, but are considered obese on the BMI chart. Phentermine is a
central nervous system stimulant and appetite suppressant that works well when combined with proper diet and exercise.
It can be taken before or after your first meal. It is most frequently used in the treatment of obesity.
They come in a 30 day supply bottle for just $22.50 and should be
taken only as directed.
Phentermine is one of the top 3 weight loss medications available today. It was
first used in 1959 with fenfluramines, however studies showed that fenfluramines had a possible link to heart valve problems
and since then Phentermine has been used alone. The most common side effects of this prescription
form medication are rapid heart rate, hypertension, insomnia, constipation, headache, and dry mouth. Some patients
have also reported sexual dysfunction.
Phentermine
is not for everyone. If you have a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, and severe
nervousness you should not use Phentermine as it can increase the symptoms of your current medical condition. If you
have a drug abuse problem you should not use Phentermine and if you are currently taking an MAOI you should not use Phentermine.
You must consult with your physician and Dr. Patel if you are interested in this prescription weight loss product.
